We have had lows in the 50s for the last monh and a half, and last frost date passed last weekend, so I planted everything! So last night it got to 35 and its supposed to be like this all week.

cool and cloudy and chances of rain here or there. the next week looks to be much the same. it would be good time to do some digging if i can convince myself to get out and doing it.

Anyone Near me who started their cool weather crops early are gonna have a Good Spring harvest. It's been warmish and coolish, which is, as in Thursday's Mid American Gardener panelists said, perfect weather for lettuces, spinach and cabbage. I will need to plant them in the Fall.

frost warning for tonight and tomorrow night. it was rather cold today and may have had some chances of rain but we only saw a few drops coming down.

I tried... but critters were apparently hungry from winter and almost everything disappeared soon after sprouting. Had to seed again, my lettuce and carrots have stalled, but the radishes, turnips and mustard are all finally growing.
