Hummers are my fave bird. That is so cool that you got to hold one. 2 of them were playing in our yard and whizzed past our faces. I have a hummer feeder and I am trying to get some flowers that hummers love :)
Nope. This is my first time. You can look up "Aerogarden reviews" on google. If you go on craigslist you can find one for around $30 or so :)
Here is a good review site... http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/383547
It just says green beans on the box and on the side it says "Green bean seeds - Untreated non-GMO. Its not too big. It fits on my entertainment center. I will get some pics to show you how big it is once my cell phone charges LOL :P
ok got pics. The first one I am comparing it to hydrogen peroxide
I cant wait to grow some cherokee purples next year. I found this on the climbing tomatoes but they might not be the right kind.

Another good documentary is "FOOD, INC". It also opens the truth about monsanto.
Edited to add: I found this documentary as well "The world according to monsanto" on youtube. Here is the link if you want to watch it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hErvV5YEHkE&feature=related
The book is called "Nation Garden Book". It has everything in it plants, propagation, weeds, pest, zones and more.

Maybe if you pull a few leaves off a cutting and put it in some moist soil it may root. Just keep it in a shady spot. I am trying that with my dwarf burning bush and some lavender cuttings I got from someone.
OK I totally forgot the pot with the 2 cutting with hormone on it and they rooted well. I just popped them into the ground. These ones were semi-hardwood cuttings. Out of 8 cuttings 4 survived. Next I will be doing some ebay seeds in the aerogarden.
