    Different beans planted together

You guys are right, my kidney beans probably didn't produce any beans (or my chickens likely got to them when I was not around). I am glad to hear that they are not likely to cross with each other(I learn something new every day). I just assumed they did without doing any research because no...

    Grow roses from cuttings

Great advice everyone! I read the linked thread, I had no idea about the rose fruits! I've never seen them on my bushes. The one I wanted to cut does look like a grafted plant so I think i'll try to grow a few clippings from different ones to see if I can do it:)

    Kumquat Tree, No Fruit?

After a quick search I found they are self fertile so that should not be a problem. I read a bit about grafting and I think I may just give it a try on this tree with one that produces fruit. Maybe that will possibly fix it:/

    Ant control...

I already try to drown them out, but they just move to another planting area and eventually make it back to the starting point. marshallsmyth, I just started keeping...

    Ant control...

I'm having problems with ants making their mounds in my flower beds and around the new plants I just put in the ground. Is there something I can use to control them that will not harm my birds? (sorry if this is the wrong section for this)

    I Hate Thieves!!

I would never think someone would attempt to lift a full cement planter! They're heavy enough without the dirt. Maybe you'll find them again.
