    Seeds for animals are usually raw, rolled/crimped or deshelled. These were deshelled sunflowers, as I didn't want to waste half of my time splitting n spitting! Lol People used to say livestock seeds were xrayed or something so that you could not plant them. I've used them, often, to plant! Oats...

    Hostas seem a bit happier in the shade, no new/further damage. *phew* We'll see if they still need to go further back or if those are permanent spots for them. others are a single spike, what's this one up to... the volunteer flopped over from all the rain
