Those peas are so cool! I love them. And about calico cats, most are female. But from time to time a male will pop up. It's pretty rare from what I know, the male cat has to have two X chromosomes and one Y giving them an extra chromosome. They are also normally infertile.

You could always treat them as a house plant and then put them out again next spring.

This is the first year I am not going to bury part of the stem like I'm almost always reading about. I have never gotten any potatoes grown from the stem, and it's too much work for nothing. Your potato plant looks really nice. Hopefully you get a huge harvest.

I'm going to give it a try, I do have a food saver and I love it. It really makes a difference. I still have some carrots and green beans from last year in the freezer in food saver bags. Though for snap peas my favorite way to eat them is raw, they are so sweet.
