    Limp green beens

    Yes, they are ready for harvest. They look great, just spongy and limp. Some of them snap but most are just limp. I can't think of anything other than dry weather. The bushes do not have any bugs on them and they look good.

    Garden burning up

    My garden is just burning up with this Georgia heat. I water, but the plants are cooking from the sun. Anyone else having this problem? We need a break from this extreme heat soon.

    Hard places in tomato core!

    My Brandywine and Rutgers tomatoes have hard spots in the core. Is this related to the heat? I did a search and cannot find anything but I think I remember something about it being because of the heat. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks.

    Comfrey

    We live in Kudzu country so I'm going to plant comfrey and maybe, just maybe it will eat all the Kudzu. :) I'm going to plant it in a place that will be OK if it spreads. Thanks for all the information on this herb.
