I have not yet tried that one. I just bought some Rosa's Beans from Small House Farm. Though, it looks like they can be quite dark when fully ready.Welcome @heartsong111! Don't those blue beans just steal your heart!?Have you grown Sacre Blue? I think that is my favorite blue bean. Blue & White of Bernardo is closely tied with it though.
I've grown that one too! lol Can you tell I like blue beans? It is definitely blue when young and not quite dried. It's really productive variety, and a nice perk is it's a snap bean. Most blue beans are for dry use.
Thank you heirloomgal. It's a pretty neat feeling when I accidentally come across a small seed company selling maybe one or two of my original beans. Sometimes someone from maybe in Europe and the person doesn't know me will post a bean on Facebook of what they grew the past season. It will be one of my named beans again. To see a bean I discovered in my garden that I thought something of and then to see that it is indeed being enjoyed by others is a nice experience. What a catchy tune… I really liked that serenade about beans and the gardeners that save and grow them.I thought this was the cutest little thing. A seed saving friend did an online course where they learned to use some Suno program for making AI generated songs, I have no idea how this works, I've never even dialed a cell phone, but I think she just plugged in a couple key words, selected a few themes and made up this song for me & my seed ark website and the beans! Couple of the AI lyrics are off, but for the most part I thought this was pretty neat! If you think of 'my life' as an extension of my seed ark....

I listened to it today.Thank you very much for that. Pretty neat. Me and my Blue Jay bean (sweet child of the sun) are now in song. Wow ! who would have ever thought my Blue Jay bean would rise to these heights LOL !
