If'n you like it, and don't mind typing out the recipe, please share. Making pumpkin bisque was repeated quite a few times and I like it! DW on the other hand . . .
Post it on
@Marie2020 's thread or somewhere, if you don't feel it appropriate to use the "eating from the garden" thread. My sweet potato hot cakes response to Marie was quite silly

I didn't make the pumpkin soup
Yet. I will let you know when I do. I still have 4 pie pumpkins to process.
I have had really good squash soup before, so I have high hopes.
Pie was great, but I won't add ground cloves again--too much!

BBQ was perfect! I didn't think so--it took forever to thaw, and I didn't think it had enough time to cook down in the crock pot. BUT!! I really enjoyed the celery and onions crunchy. We ate 2 meals, and I froze 3 more bbq meals.
Eldest DD insisted on mac and cheese, which she makes with 1/2 and 1/2 and added cheese.
I made 1 1/2x normal slaw bc of the 2 cabbages. That keeps well in the fridge, but the 3 of us are going to be eating a lot of slaw this year--cheap, healthy and doesn't go bad fast.
I followed a recipe for pumpkin seeds. It involved brining for 12-24 hours, then dehydrating.
When I put the dehydrator tray over the sink to pour the seeds on top, most of them fell right through!
So, I put parchment paper down first.
Youngest DD is thrilled at a pint of pumpkin seeds to snack on.
