3, 2, 1, Harvest!

Lady’s and gentleman! The countdown to the harvest is over! Today I got 11 pods of peas and a cucumber! I looked at the cucumbers this morning and noticed some dark green under a pile of leaves... it was a full grown, ready to harvest, cucumber! So here tell me what YOU picked to day!

Picked blueberries at a friends house today! I won’t go out to pick the garden until it’s a good bit cooler though.

Looks great! I love finding the first veggie or fruit on the plants. My kids make a race out of it and my son gets so upset when his older taller sister sees the first blueberry high up on the plant. She always shares tho lol.

Here is what I did today cut the stem of the onions and laid them down to dry more.

Your garden is coming right along! Mine went in so late, I haven’t even had a tomato yet! The Painted Mountain corn has ears, but I let them dry, it’s a cornmeal corn, so no pretty pictures. I’ll just have to watch yours!
