I finally remembered to tuck my camera into my bibs this morning. The kids are off school this week for some kind of fall break.

Emily and I moved the mini-donkeys to a different paddock. Repaired hundreds of feet of fencing damaged by our bad-boy bull. Moved 61 baby pigs from furrowing pens to a large indoor stall (cold weather is on the way). During the pig move several cows got out of their paddock and into the barnyard. I left a gate open after driving through the barnyard. Emily did a very good job of corralling the girls back into the pasture where they belong all by herself.

A good day here in rural Indiana.

That looks like a beautiful place Smiles. Love that gray and white donkey. I didn' realize your children were that young/little.

What a pretty place you have. I love your donks!
61 piglets sounds like a pretty busy operation, good thing you have all that reliable help. :)

Were you always such a farmer? I thought you had taken over your Dad's place. Looking like heaven for kids.

Yay! Pics! Looks like a beautiful, sunny, fall day on the farm there. Your (daughter? granddaughter?) reminds me of Fern, the young girl in Charlotte's Web. :)

You might be sticking your toes into gardening, but it sure looks like you've got a real farm going around you. Were these part of Dad's life as well or are you branching out. Everything looks great.
