When I was a kid, my neighbor had a paw paw tree in his yard. I only remember them tasting like over ripe bananas. Nobody ate them. Hope they taste better with their hybridizing.

Lucky fruit is said to be a cross between mango and banana both favorites of mine.

I believe @journey11 eats them, her father planted some at his farm

3 more paw paw trees came in todays mail. Will be planted in orchard this weekend.

They have to be picked after a frost correct? Or am I getting them mixed up with persimmons?
