AMKuska's 2017 Garden

Fried green tomatoes.....my favorite way is to slice them into cold water. Shake off excess water, then roll in seasoned cornmeal, I use season salt, garlic powder, black pepper. I get all the slices cornmealed, then fry in medium hot oil. They are SOOOOO good!
 
Just took a break from canning them all. It amounted to 11 half pints of diced jalapenos, and a quart of salsa. I still have half a basket of tomatoes. Tomato soup maybe?

@baymule I'll give it a try once I've struggled through this lot
 
Make tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce. I love opening a couple jars of tomato sauce and making home made chili!
