A bit more humble than last years, but I like it a lot. :)

What do we see in that last photo??

Hey AMKuska, you have some rocks in your soil, too!

In my gardens, it's more like I've got some soil in my rocks ...

:) Steve

That's my rice patty. I've never grown it before but it seems to be doing well. The weeds are doing better though.

My garden is really small. About 10 X 12 feet at most. Just plant a few things you love and don't waste space on stuff you don't. Tomatoes, peppers and squash is a must for me.

This year that's what I'm doing. I'm only growing food for me. Last year I opened a booth in the farmer's market, but this year I'm cutting way back.

Rice patty!!

Double Like!

Have you ever eaten "freshly harvested" rice? It's wonderful! Well, really good.

Steve

No, in fact I've never even eaten whole grain rice before, but rice is the bulk of what we eat. If this is successful I could potentially grow everything we eat always on my property. That'd be sort of cool.

You should try some whole grain rice AMKuska! It's worlds above the instant type. My favorite is Basmati, it's an aromatic rice that smells like popcorn when it's cooking. Put a little pat of butter on a bowlful and that could be dinner for me!
