My grandpa told me this one and with the hot weather I think it's appropriate.
One Summer, just as the corn was getting dry it got so hot the popcorn started popping in the ears and flying around in the air.
The old mule took one look, decided it must be snowing and froze to death.

Not like the whole ear, but I showed hubby, there were at least 3-4 kernels on several ears that did pop. 5 days at around 110 I guess can actually do that with high humidity in NC!!! :bee
