Anyone Planning On Growing New Yorkers This Year ?

Yes!! I stored the seed packet you sent me last year and I will try them this year. I ran out of time to start ANY seeds last season. :(
Tomato seeds will still be viable, I think by 70%+ in 2019.
I missed out on starting Brussels Sprouts seeds on time for 2018, but I DO have a setup with lights and 2 warming pads in my basement.
I think if I plant conservatively I could focus on babysitting about 6 plants inside first, then outside early with a cover and see if I can get that elusive red tomato by July 4th!

I do.

What I like is their quickness to set a crop and ripen.

I will sow New Yorker seeds later than most every other tomato because they are a quick determinate. That will mean that they will have tomatoes about when everything else does. However, it will also mean that I can fill in plants after every other variety is out there, or nearly.

:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate@aftermidnight you ?

I sure hope so, they produced gangbusters for me. I saved seed and have shared it with several people including our snowbird son. He summers in Canada and winters south of the border, they own a condo in Palm Springs but have rented a house on a beach in Mexico for a couple of months. His New Yorkers are on a drip system in Palm Springs, maybe they'll have ripe maters when they get back if all goes well.

They didn't do so well for me, NY, so I didn't even get to save one for seed. I still have some of the seed you sent me, though it's not likely I'll plant anymore. Sorry.

I think I still have some seed, haven't checked yet to see what I have. They were a bust for me last year, but so were a lot of things. I want to try again, they look like a good tomato to grow.

I got my seed late last year but will try this year. I have to start seeds on Jan.20 if I want to plant by the usual end of March. But I was thinking of planting a month later this year so that I could grow some peas.
