As you know I have hacked my old, red and very sweet fruited (no idea of which kind) apple tree. It looks like it might recover, and I even bought copper fungicide to treat it with this year. My Johnathan apple tree looks like it has some limbs that also need removal. As you know my horses have the 3rd apple tree, a GD, and I removed a big limb that looked suspicious there, too.
It's been 5 years since the other GD apple tree died and the stump has rotted away. I want to plant a new tree in and close to where it was.
Can you recommend a blight resistant variety that I can also taste test?
As always, THANKS!!!! :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

Is liberty a good pollinator like GD? Or do you have a pollinator that works well with Liberty on the property already?
