Bay laurel

Anyone have experience with growing one in a pot? I put a small plant in my flower bed early this summer and dug it up before a frost. I'm wondering if there's anything I should do to make it happy inside.

I think there is someone on here that has one inside. Maybe she will let us know. Where did you find one, Kate? Was it sold as a shrub, or a house plant, or an herb?

It's not quite what you're looking for. I grow mine year round outside. It's the blue pot on the left.

Kate, I don't see why you can't grow it in a pot and then bring it in for the winter. Place it in a sunny spot indoors.

Hi. Yes, I have one in a pot that's growing quite well. It's in a South facing window, and I keep it moderately moist.
