Baymule’s 2021 Garden

Grandma Robert’s Purple Pole beans are growing and covered in blooms. I put them between rows of Painted Mountain Corn to space them from other beans.

The Painted Mountain corn is tasseled and has little ears of corn.

Looks wonderful gal! I so wish I had level ground with real dirt
Thanks, our first garden here mostly died. We have sugar sand, like beach sand, but without the ocean. It’s taken tons of amendments, wood chips, animal manures, everything I can get my grubby hands on. We finally have rich, black soil, but it has taken 7 years to get here.

You too can build real dirt! LOL

If we had the money to have an excavator come and level the ground and move boulders and 100+foot trees, we could have a garden not in raised beds. But this forest is tough. So I build my soil for the raised beds. Which do work great for my old bones. I saw a bit of the ground you have on the hip replacement page,,, I could work with that, but as tiered as I am this morning I dont think I am up for much today, I am ready to wrap this week up,

Hip replacement page… :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Your cousin is probably only a couple hours from me. If you ever go visit her, you’ll have to come see me too!

Bay, I can't believe it's been 7 years since you moved there. I love hearing about your garden and how far it's come. Those beans are looking good.

Mary
Thank you Mary! You and quite a few others have been with me on my crazy journey! Wait until you hear what I got rolling around in my head now! Shhhhh………. It’s a secret! :plbb
