If you use blogspot, you must have an account. Most people using blogspot require you have an account or either they must individually verify you, or they block you completely without an account.

Mainly, I get spammed a lot for viagra and stuff, so I make it so you have to have a blogspot account with user name and verified password. Plus I have to check its ok with me you post and nothing older then 2 weeks old either.

I really got nasty posts because of it. :(

Thats the thing. I've been signed up with Blogspot for years.... and I even signed in to see if that was the problem. Maybe I should try to get a new account? I don't know. I seriously think I tried everything.

Hmmm... Journey told me she had this problem the other day. Maybe you should try again like tomorrow. It could be an issue with blogspot. Or, you may need to empty your cache on your browser?

Its been like this for various blogs for weeks. For days on your guys', and its still that way. I've tried different browsers, different computers, and even cleared the cache.

Vfem, I still can't comment on yours. It pops up a mostly blank window and locks up, no matter which profile I choose. I got a little farther with the Google account option but still got a mostly blank window with no option to post what I typed. This is a mystery to me why I can't get through. It looks like you are still able to get comments from some others though. Weird?

Rainnotebook -- I haven't been blogging long and there's a lot of things I learn about it here and there. I hope mine is working! I get comments every so often. Mine has a similar set up to Vfem's. When I first started blogging, a friend had to tell me to add an RSS feed--I had no clue! :p Can you let me know if mine was one that you had trouble with?

I really enjoy blogging, even if I don't have much to talk about. I try not to take myself too seriously with it, It's just for fun. As a SAHM, it gives me a little connection to the outside world. It is my guilty pleasure to blog once I get the toddler off to sleep!

ETA: I checked my comment settings. The only requirement I have selected is that the comment author must fill out name and e-mail and that I approve comments before they're posted. I can't see anything else about making it a separate window pop-up or anything like that.

It's weird... on my work computer all those comment boxes work. Guess I'll just have to comment from work. :)

Hmmm... what browers are you guys using? I don't know what to tell ya... it really seems like there is something checked on your guys' accounts of someone is blocking you?

I do get an error and blank screen when I sign into my blogspot using my google email account... I have 2 sign ins though, and my yahoo email sign in works fine. :/

There has got to be something from my end... but 4 out of 5 computers won't let me do it and they are all different operating systems. The only thing consistent is the internet connection... so I'm wondering if its that. The one from work is on a whole different network.

As for browsers I tried them all, IE, Mozilla, Flock, Chrome

Oh well just glad one of my computers work. (its sad that I have so many computers! lol)
