Thanks guys! It's the first time I've had to do a landscape from scratch, and it was pretty overwhelming at first, but I'm really happy with the results. @ninnymary - the blue flowers are scaveola. @lesa - We're about a quarter mile from the "curb" so it's all just for me! (And DH, too, I guess!)

@curly_kate, such a nice job you did there! It looks so neat yet very attractive! Make sure you take time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. You need a comfy bench or chair nearby.

Every time Kate and her DH drive up the driveway, their enjoyment level should rise. Visitors, same experience.

But Kate, surely there is a comfortable spot on that quarter mile where you could spend some time often, to sit and admire your work and results.

Curly_kate, I agree with SmartRed about you needing a comfy chair or bench to enjoy your garden. But I think you also need to do that in the evening with a nice glass of wine.

Smart Red, I just took a close look at them. They're sudoku! Funny thing is I play sudoku daily on the computer. Some how I must have attached them.

Smart Red, I play sudoku at websudoku.com. You can choose your levels and it times you to see how fast you did it. I love it and play for hours. I figured it's gotta be good for the brain!
