Over here, nurseries are taking back the pots from landscapers.

Perhaps you can check with painters who buy their primer and white paint in 5 gal. buckets.

Nurseries here take back pots too and the dump has a recycle dumpster specifically for plant pots.
I have stacks of one gallons and at least a dozen of the 20 gallon tree pots.
The one and 2 gallons go back to the nurseries eventually (when I can remember to load them up) but the tree pots I keep because they're so handy to have.
