I have some in a pot inside a window and in a pot outside away from chickens. Inside ones are weak and thinleafed (not enough light).Outside shade one looks good and has "bloom". Both pots were left inside over winter in windows.Leaves died off, I forgot to water, noticed the pots and assumed dead, watered on a whim ( a yr. or more later), and they came back. My understanding is they can be outside yr round in Fla. or maybe S. Ga. but not above. Inside, no problem if you have some light, but the leaves die off in the wtr., regardless. Urns are fine, if you dig out bulbs in winter, or drag urns into a warm area then.
