I can't WAIT to get our chicks in July!!

It looks like I have 13 chicks total. I put 20 eggs in, 16 made it to lockdown. It's not the best hatch rate, but I'm happy with it. The last one to hatch was stuck, but, when I chipped away the last bit of shell, it popped right out and started peeping at me, so I put it back in the 'bator to fluff up.

I ordered chicks from Meyer... I think I might have messed up tho... I ordered 7 free "meal makers" thinking that they were something for the chicks..... oh no... they're extra chicks!! GAH! What am I gonna do with 14 chicks?? LOL

nachoqtpie, your meal makers are kind of like my "FREE" "Rare and exotic" chick that was sent with my order. Yep...just what I needed. One more roo! I guess they have to get rid of them some how!
