Is that an instant, Debbie!

I'm not very sophisticated and don't understand modern brewing technology. My passive drip coffee pot with it's kettle companion are not a very distant memory. They successfully outlasted the percolator craze!

Are those paper clips and somehow involved ..?

Steve
don't usually recommend it but you can boil ground coffee in a pot

It's one of the 'k-cups' for the 'cup-at-a-time' coffee brewer. (They have tiny little filters inside with just enough coffee for one cup)
I un-bent 3 paperclips for it to sit on, poked a hole in the bottom for the coffee to run out, peeled back the top just enough to be able to pour hot water in - VOLIA'! Coffee!

And yes... they've all been waiting for me to order a new one.
(It's nice to be needed... I guess)

I HAVE taken home a cast iron frying pan and some dishes that were left on the ground next to a dumpster.... But those can be washed (and washed... and washed again.. and scrubbed a little...)
