tired but ok and glad to be home as usual. it was ham, cheesy potatoes, green bean cassarole, salad, cheese, cracker, salami/pepperoni tray, german chocolate cupcakes and some strawberries with whipped cream. all very good eats.

Pumpkin Pie (& a brownie ) for my second breakfast.

Made some brownies on Christmas Eve because DD likes them. I gotta buy some real cocoa and start making them from scratch (and hot chocolate). I'm almost sure that I can do better than the boxed stuff.

Oh, and I just finished my apple-a-day, a nice Honey Crisp.

Are you tired from Christmas Day or excited to be out playing with new toys?

Definitely excited to play with new toys! DH was gifted a drone by his employer for Christmas so they are having a blast with that. I got a new kitchen aid with a grain mill . I'm so excited!

Kids got bunch if new toys and books so they are occupied.

Went to DD's house Christmas Eve and then they came to my house Christmas morning. Ate ham at both houses, pie at both houses. I was tired yesterday, kids overwhelmed all the toys. I am not tired today. Only toys I got was some Joann gift cards. LOL The snow and the roads, I just do not want to go right now. DS and I went out and really bedded the rabbits down good and put the plastic up on the hutch. The best I can do for them. They have lived through it before and we are going to have a cold, cold week.

I got home last night, gone again this morning to Fort Worth, then back this evening. Christmas is over until next year.

Edit: then, I'm reading the comics. Crock. Figowitz crawls up to the fort claiming that he hasn't eaten "for weeks!" Cook hands him a bowl of Alphabet Soup. Then asks, why aren't you eating? Figowitz, "Because some of the letters are missing!"

Coffee this morning and 12 degrees. I made navy beans and used the ham bone and trimmings saved from Christmas and chopped an onion and put in. I made cornbread and cooked some pork shoulder and DS and I really enjoyed supper last night.
