It is good to know that expectations are going along well in GwR daughter's household. It would be quite a treat to celebrate grandchildren birthdays and Grandmother's birthday on the same day 😍.
 
Well, DD did it. She had the twins on my birthday. Not as planned. Emergency C-section. Carried them 39 weeks and 4 days. She was bleeding. Had one of the placentas tearing. DD had to have a transfusion, lost some blood. She is doing fine now. Penelope Jane weighs 8 pounds 11 oz and is fine. She will be called Penny. Lucille Marie weighs 8 pounds 6 oz and will be called Lucy. She swallowed blood and is intubated, but doing better. Getting fluid out of lungs and stomach. DD said they are going to try to take the tube out later today. I am watching the other 3. DS and wife helping me and took them to the park.

Wow those are big babies and 2 of them at once! I like big babies because they have freight to throw! 😊 Enjoy your children! They grow up so fast!

i am having an utterly wonderful planned day of nothing. i finished reading a book i started yesterday. i just had breakfast and now i'm going to sip a cup of hot tumeric and ginger tea - it's the last bag of a gift from a friend that i was saving for a special occasion, but really it was in the container from my closet that i've partially cleaned out and i'd put it there because it was the last one and in danger of Mom throwing it away if i didn't stash it someplace she'd never look. as it steeps and takes on some color before i finish it off i'll contemplate what i won't plan for today, but i might get outside for some more dirt therapy and progress on a project, but i may also not... i won't flip a coin, that's too deterministic for how i feel right at this moment...
