Be still my heart! I listened to an hour long lecture by the author this weekend. THIS is on my Christmas list. Hopefully it will be in softcover and a little bit cheaper.

I went out earlier and already you can feel the heat. We are going to be close to 100 today and tomorrow. I am sipping coffee and wondering what I should do about the garden for next year. The corn is done. I did not get much, but it tastes good. I still am not getting red tomatoes. I have a lot of large green ones though.

The tree cutters came and cut the dead maple tree down and DS has been making trips to the dump. I have been helping rake and put things in the truck. He is having chainsaw troubles. I am really surprised it even turned on after not being used for years. He has some of the bigger parts of the trunk cut, but he still has the biggest part left. It really was not that big of a tree. The branches are so dry they just snap. There is not a drop of sap or green in the tree. All the bark is falling off.

Little late to 2nd breakfast chasing sprinklers around.

Melon and whole wheat English muffins with melted mozzarella cheese.

I wonder if it's right and proper to have an Italian cheese on an "English muffin?"

glad to see you back! :)
It was just computer frustrations that kept me away. You know I"m not that tech savvy and my beloved desktop finally died. Love the big screen. Now we have a laptop and it's not the same. Finally managed to have the same password on it as my phone. But still haven't done the shortcut where the link is saved and I just click on it.
