I've had my 2 cups of coffee. Had hernia surgery 3 days ago. First day home was rough, the anesthesia made me sick. Not fun. I'm taking it easy, actually pretty easy to do right now, I feel like a chainsaw got too friendly with my tummy. My recliner is my best friend, I can look out the window. My son is staying here and taking good care of me. He is still taking care of my sheep, horse and dogs. I am blessed. I'll be down for awhile and plan on not doing much this summer, so no big projects. By the time the doctor releases me it will be scorching hot, so I'll do the routine things, but nothing stupendous.
I am glad you are doing well, but I can imagine your best friend is the recliner. Having a good son is such a blessing.

I had my coffee and reading all kinds of gardening news. I am so confused with weather and normally I would not worry about planting things in April because my ground would never be ready, but I have the boxes filled and most of them are ready. I looked at when to plant by soil temperature and onions at 35 degrees?????? I have a link where you check soil temperature by zip code and it says my soil temperature right now is 51 and 5 day average is 42. I am going to start trying to harden off a few things. We have had rain and wind and hardly any sun, so I guess by the time I harden off things it will be my regular planting time. lol

Corn Flakes • Rice Chex • sliced banana • raisins and a small bowl of applesauce, along side. Oolong.

I am also confused about the weather, @Gardening with Rabbits. Soil temperature at 35⁰f?! Soil temperature here at home where I could keep track of it didn't work so well as a guide. It varied so much because of the shade and direct sunlight varied so much around the yard. Raised beds should present something of a different scenario.

A couple degrees above freezing sounds like good refrigerated temperature for storage.

I had my coffee and breakfast and the sun is shinning. It is 51 right now. I ordered a soil thermometer yesterday and it will get here tomorrow. I have a tray with cabbage that I started inside and I had taken them outside to the outside greenhouse awhile back and then it got colder so I brought them in and I also have a tray of them that have never been outside and they look a lot healthier than the ones that had been outside in the greenhouse. The onions out there look really good. I have some hollyhocks inside that look really good and the ones in the outside greenhouse are growing, but very slow. I think I will take the cabbage outside to the greenhouse today while the sun is shinning and bring them back in later.

Glad to hear you are taking it easy and have help. Do know that is not an easy task for you.
Praying for a full recovery in the Lord's time.
