Which one of these would you buy if you were going to buy compost? What is the difference for the garden?
Composted cow manure or composted leaves and grass clippings

Depends upon the source. Composted grass clippings can contain herbicides and also pieces of Bermuda grass or nut grass that didn't get composted...I don't think I'd even TRY to compost those, as they seem to never die or transform under any circumstances besides just burning them. Even then I wouldn't trust them.
Cow manure...that's another one where you don't know if the hay they ate had herbicides sprayed on it, whether they have been given a lot of vermicides, etc.
So, if you know and trust the sources, and both are well composted, I'd go with the one your soil needs the most~needs more of everything, I'd go with the cow manure. Just needs a mild but still rich boost, I'd go with the grass or leaf mulch.

The grass one is organic. The other is not. I did buy organic 2-year-old cow, manure last year that was organic. My garden is full of rabbit manure. I went out and turned some of it over and the shovel just full of worms. Maybe I do not need anything until fall?

i would say you could pass on the composted cow manure for sure then. bunny poo is good stuff.

Not with rabbits! You shouldn't need anything at all!
I'd stick with the gold mine you have on hand.

If you are not sure, you could take a sample to your Extension service for analysis. They can tell you what and how much you need. But they may be pretty busy this time of year.
