SO...I have a signing job(s) set up at a local title company tomorrow. Location is 5 minutes from DH's office and we plan to car pool so He can pick up Christmas dinner at a grocery store that sells portions of meals, to go.
Nurses have given me the go ahead to drive, just suggested some practice first.
DD's told me I need to practice driving, since I haven't driven since late October.
I get into My car (2012 Toyota Avalon,) and it barely starts up this morning!
DH says, take His car, 2021 Toyota Avalon, (his is red, Mine is white, as if this has Anything to do with my story),
so I drive the 12 miles (rural) to church, no real problems, lousy parking job. I let Him drive us home.
Just Not sure about avoiding the cars in the tight parking lot.
Not sure if I would let ME drive myself yet!!!
I think I can drive myself in on Tuesday for the one signing, BUT, do I really want to risk the possible battery failure in My car?!?!?
If DH drives I could take prescription pain pills....hmmmm....

@flowerbug , I considered what advice I would give another in such a situation and decided to get a new battery.
Our mechanic is SO NICE! He fit me in yesterday afternoon, and I drove away all juiced up.
It is an Interstate battery, which is my favorite, btw.
