At a bustling construction site, a young worker couldn’t stop bragging about his strength, claiming he could outdo anyone. His favorite target was one of the older workers, constantly poking fun at him.
After a while, the older man had enough. He turned to the young braggart and said, “Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is? I’ll bet you a week’s wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that building that you won’t be able to wheel back.”
The young man smirked. “You’re on, old man. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
Without missing a beat, the older worker grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles, turned to the young man with a grin, and said, “All right. Get in.”
