I had forgotten about Blue Chip stamps.

I still remember the location of the green stamp store .

Saved those darn irritating books of stamps early in life when DH was in the service . Actually traded maybe 35 or more books for my first 5’ shelf with built in clock on top shelf. Lousy particle board wood stained and lasted for over 30 years. I finally decided to part with it and burned it in the garden pile.
Blue chip and S&H stamps were a godsend then.
