Thank you. I am sure I'll get a harvest, it's just so discouraging sometimes. I have also noticed that the tomato plants in the buckwheat patch is doing wonderful without any pests issues. Next year I'll plant tomatoes among other plants, a polyculture of sort.

also plant them deeper, it will help with BER...

IF there is a nutrien plant nearby, buy a gallon of black label zinc. BER will be gone. No man made chemicals in it.
Not familiar with that term. What is the chemical name, or formula? How do you apply it, and at what concentration? A couple tomatoes & peppers that I grow seem especially susceptible to BER, it would improve the yield immensely if I could reduce the discards.

You apply it as a foliar or as you plant in the hole. It is the earth that is uncovered when they go for coal. High in digestible carbon with zinc. Natural product.

You can also go to a dairymen and buy gallons of milk. Should be cheap enough as they are operating in a deficit.

If it wasn’t the ups charges being more than product, I’d send u some. As I said, milk will do the same-& it’s cheaper per gallon.
