I'm a little bit sleep deprived and haven't had nearly enough coffee yet so just ignore this if it's entirely insane...

Has anyone ever tried making ice cream from things like cucumbers or tomatoes??? I mean, we toss chopped up fruit in there without a thought... why not something else (and probably some extra sugar too)?
Just a thought...

<~~heads over for another cup of coffee.. and ends up standing in front of the copier wondering why she's there....

Gilroy California bills itself as the garlic capital of the world. Every year, during their garlic festival they serve garlic flavored ice cream.

<<< Walks to the copy machine where Cane is standing with that cute bewildered expression on her face, and hands her an awesome Latte.

When I visited Spain, we were in a park and an ice cream vendor was there. The flavor that I remember most was, fish flavored ice cream. Why? Why would anyone make fish flavored ice cream? I did taste it, just because it was so weird. Yup, it was awful!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupukyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyucch! Fish ice cream? bleeyecgh!

I would be game for trying a lot of different ice creams - but I would have to say NO to fish ice cream. ick! :sick

I ACCIDENTLY had garlic ice cream once. (I do not recommend it.) :sick I was making a sundae and dropped some chopped nuts onto the kitchen counter. I swept them onto my sundae from there... Left over garlic powder (from dinner prep) and all. Ugh!

Garlic ice cream might not be the best idea, and probably would not be all that good, or even not good, but I would at least try it.

Fish ice cream? No. If I had some in my mouth it would immediately be expelled.
