Curl on New Growth

Effecting new leaves on ornamental cherry tree. I did spray tree once with fruit tree spray early spring

Looks like peach leaf curl. Some stone fruits get them. You have to spray with copper sulphur mid November.

@Nyboy , it's a little late now, the effected leaves may fall off, we have to battle peach leaf curl up here too. I don't have a peach tree now but when I did I sprayed with fixed copper in November and again in the spring just as the flower buds are starting to swell. Growing peach trees against the wall of the house under the under hang also helps, keeps the rain off.

No, the early spring rains brings the fungus out. Keep the tree kind of semi dwarf so that it won't be so hard to spray.

Lucky it is at work, no other fruit trees there.
