Dandelion flowers...How do YOU eat them?

I wash the dandelion flowers and pat dry, dip in buttermilk,then flour, quickly deep fry, they dont have a lot of taste on their own, so I season salt them, or use a mix of salt ,garlic powder, paprika, and sprinkle a tiny bit over them, we are a catsup family, so dip them in catsup like french frys... they are good, but a lot of work... beware of scavenger picking them, make sure they dont come off treated lawns, close to a busy road side where they may have soaked in lead and exaust emissions stc.. cant say enough about all that.:barnie
We use the early spring leaves for greens:)
