This weekend we are having a heat wave. Going to be 84°today.

Impressive, meanwhile here, we got a foot and a half of snow.

We have growing:
chickweed
burdock
dandelions
thistles
chickery
henweed
field pennycress
wild violet
and, soon, thousands of maple seedlings.
(probably missed a few weeds in that list above)
I ALSO have plenty of red and yellow (with red streaks) tulips, daffodils fading and some not yet flowered, a carpet of blue creeping phlox (2 that a mirror images of each other on the sides of the front walk), about 7 surviving peach blossoms and a couple of hundred pear blossoms.
Time to mow AND till AND under vegetation killer on the weed patches, then cover with stall leavings.
...the WAR begins!!!!!

Yeah. I do. I love it but the spring storms are just weird.
