I would like suggestions as to what perennial to plant near Eva's grave. Right now I am starting seeds in this blue pot, but I don't leave nice ceramic pots out all year. Ice will crack it. Now that I have room in my carriage house my big ceramic pots will live there upside down during the wintertime. I appreciate All suggestions for a memorial perennial.

Some lavender might be nice? It looks pretty and has a lovely fragrance.

Finally going out--2 gardening days left until my surgery. I will probably report back late tomorrow, then, I will be on heavy medication for several days, so I will probably Not be online then.
I had to cover the law office yesterday morning, so I made sure to hit WM on the way home to stock up on any over the counter medication that was getting low, so that my caretakers don't have to take extra trips to buy me stuff.
Met a guy to fix our office safe. I didn't know that it weighs almost 500 pounds.
The electronic lock is broken, but it broke open. It has a cash drawer in it and we all miss not being able to use it.
I bought this for $50 almost 7 years ago, and You won't find this kind of safe at Best Buy or Target.
We only have one person in town who fixes these things, but I think it will be working by next week.
Fire proof and burgler proof, still we have a cover on it and it looks like a pedestal for the 2 ft tall Lincoln bust that sits on top of it.
Got 10 tomatoes in this week, and I'll be checking them soon. I have one volunteer tomato from last year along one of the 2024 tomato fencelines, which I am using for this year's tomatoes, too. Judging from it's location it's a beefsteak.
