I did a loan signing, at a hotel with this guy there for a day, and he is a cantaloupe farmer. He told me that he had something like a 3 day harvest window, after that, the crop was ruined.

That melon reminds me of the Montreal melon I grew years ago. It did very well here, but I wasn't saving seeds back then... and couldn't find seeds the next year. SSE hadn't had it for awhile either - but I see that Heritage Farm (SSE itself) is offering it this year. Glad to see that, it is a great short-season melon, with a wonderful flavor.
