Ducks4you for 2022

Ran out of time, so the crust for the pumpkin pie had to wait until today. I've already had 2 pieces of it.

Btw, the first pie was really from leftovers from a duck meal. I froze the duck meat, the mashed potatoes, the glazed carrots and gravy. I defrosted this and cut up and added one onion, 2 stalks of celery, salt and pepper, mixed Thoroughly, sandwiched between pie crusts and cooked for about 35 minutes.
The onions didn't bite, but the celery was still crisp.
A Great meal for a very cold day.

Tomato history
AND possible future~
Tomatoes need to get some sleep and lay off partying :D

Your comment made me think of the times that I had the opportunity to eat bear.

And, didn't.

I've enjoyed the company of domestic cats but have given them a suspicious glance when, now and then, a certain thought occurs to me :).

Gave these as a gift, then realized that I could use a pair, too. They are SUPER warm, 4 lined fingers inside of a mitton, with rawhide and canvas, with a wrist band.
They were $19.99, and low tax, (total $23.xx, along with two $1.00 spice jars.)
IF you have EVER gotten frostbite, or felt the BITE, like I have during the winter cleaning stalls, you will WANT a pair.
