Ever since the wool market crashed in the US, sheep ranching droped like a rock so the availability of LAMB for the traditional Easter dinner is disapearing . This is the third year in a row that my wife can't find lamb at any grocery or butcher store in our area. Also, I can't find any lamb or an old ewe localy that anyone is willing to sell.

If we can get lamb locally it's only in the spring from Salt Spring Island, but as a rule all our lamb is imported from New Zealand. For us on Sunday it's oven baked spareribs, cauliflower, broccoli and a baked potato.

We will be grilling chicken and baked potatoes, having dutch oven cowboy beans cooked in the fire pit, and a berry crumble for dessert also cooked over the fire in a dutch oven. I hope it doesn't rain.

I remember orange jello with carrots. Then put mayo on top. Loved that stuff, mom made it. Have to do again....
