Lest anyone wonder why we think this is the best-est, friendly-est place on the internet, Mary and Carol are merely the most recent examples.
So far it's been contained probably because it's surrounded by bricks and slate pavers. When I see one starting to grow between the bricks I quickly pull the bricks out and pull the plant. So far so good. Yet I've never used it to make hot tea with. The kids love eating the leaves and I put it in fruit salads or in a pitcher of water.
