Favorite Cold Weather Meal

I was typing at the time Cane' posted that, Thistle' ...

Gazpacho is good. I remember tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers. I'd sprinkle Tabasco sauce on it ... The veggies are hardly cooked.

Funny, i just made 2 batches of soup a few days ago. A pureed roasted squash (butternut and a delicata) with coconut milk and chicken broth, as well as a chicken veggie with quinoa. Mostly i froze them in single serving size to grab for lunches. Both came out yuuuuuuuuuummmmy. Oh and last week i made a creamy potato with corn. Yup, its definitely soup season!

Once when out to eat pear and chestnut soup was a special that day. It was cold, sweet creamy, and good !!

Cold cherry soup- it's a wonderful Danish recipe... great for dessert in summer.

A friend once made some type of cold avocado soup that had alittle bit of liquor. Don't remember what kind but it was very good.
