finally blooming

I had my first passion flower bloom and moon vine flower this week.
I'm sooo excited!

It's hot here like most everywhere!!

I love moonflowers but never had luck with them. Morning glory no problem growing

Yea! I have been wanting a passionflower vine. I saw some growing in the wild a few years ago. Maybe they would grow for me.
@Nyboy, moonflower is pretty easy to grow, but the seeds have a hard shell. Soaking them in water over night helps soften them up. Might be getting too late for this year, though.

Lucky have no trouble sprouting seeds ( I soak 24) by time they get 2nd set of leafs thing start to go wrong. I used to think they where the most romantic flower. Gave up on vine still clinging on for romance

Nice looking passion flower. They do grow wild around east Texas. Next time I find one I'm going to get cuttings or seeds. I'd like some pretty flowers! I have the red trumpet flower vines everywhere. They grow wild here too.
