I have it on good authority that an Autumn Frost will arrive in White Plains before the end of the week. There should be no further reason for any New York boy to continue "hoping" for an Autumn Frost and all such discussions of wishing away our beautiful fall weather and autumn growing season (so early in the year) should be a thing of the past.

Thank you,
Sincerely, your friend, Red

Was down to 57 last night. Felt great to turn ac off and open all windows for sleeping !!! leaves are not changing normal color, they going from green to brown, radio claims its from drought.

Right! Drought will prevent the beautiful color changes in the fall. We experienced that during the summer/fall of 2012.

Keep a watch out for the Autumn Frost!

We've had nights in the 50's and thrown open the windows. Turned the AC back on today. Bring on the fall!!!

Right now the weather is perfect! Cool nights and comfortable days with plenty of sun. DH is complaining the house is cold and wants the heat turned on. Sigh!

Our temps were down into the 40's last night. Not looking forward to colder temps. I don't like the thoughts of what will be coming later.

It was really lovely here for a few days. Now it is getting a bit too warm during the day . But nights in the 50's for good sleeping.
