Hi all,
Can anyone ID this plant for me?...I've misplaced it's name. It came from California...can live outside there. It looks to me like a huge Christmas cactus. There are2 plants in one pot...the other is the same only a huge white flower. Thanks in advance!

That is absolutely beautiful! It must be a tropical plant. I hope someone does know the name. Sorry, I can't help.

It is a so-called "orchid cactus" -- in the trade they are, or at least used to be, called Epiphyllum but I do not know whether that is currently their correct real botanical genus. Yes, they are closely related to christmas and easter cacti.
