How cool is that? We had a gorgeous sheet of dahlia stamps in Canada a few years ago. They were almost too pretty to stick on the envelope (so I bought an extra sheet for saving).

I first saw this dahlia farm over 30 years ago …it lit up my heart and the dahlia fields with a collidescope of color as far as you could see. Such joy spread thruout the whole area. Everyone had huge smiles on their faces and for one day forgot their troubles and felt total happiness. And this memory lasts a life time. Yes I have a big smile on my face.

Dahlias are a fav flower I have grown them in my garden for years… and yes they are all from Swan Island Dahlias, they never stop the joy.

Recently saw it on a FB dahlia group. Some people were disappointed the dahlias were so close up and most of that the blooms have blown centers...but I think it's better than no dahlias at all! Didn't know they were Swan Island dahlias. Never ordered from them, but I did request a catalog!

I luv em all… no doubt they are a very special flower for so many .
Dahlia flower meanings include beauty, eternal love, inner strength, dignity, and kindness. What more could you ask for? Depending on the flower color, context, and culture, dahlias symbolize themes of celebration, relationships, and my favorite Resilience.

No other flower even comes close in my book. Ain’t nothin like these beauties..
