Jeff Lowenfells excellent book “teaming with microbes” is very good reading for anyone serious about upping your garden game.
Of course, dummies like me gota read it 3 times. First time trying to pronounce all the words, second time gaining enough understanding to be curious. 3rd time things start to click and im off and running; building tea brewers and enjoying the results of those efforts!

and if you manage to do that sometime you might enjoy reading a college level textbook about microbiology. it's some great information. even if you don't understand chemistry and math you can still learn quite a bit.
