You can't build a new a frame the way it was originally? Is it because you don't have a flat area?

Thought I answered you, but don't see it now.. Yes, almost all of my yard is a slight slope. Another a-frame isn't out of the question - and is what I'll go to if the permanent post install gets too complicated.

Put a good primer coat on it and paint it bright colors. @ninnymary can give you a good color scheme! fuschia will be somewhere in that mix of colors.....

Haha, she hasn't decided on her colors yet and we are already painting it!

The swing one color and the frame another color. Of course, I would paint the swing in fuschia. It's what will catch your eye first.
