So many people out at the park, walking their dogs on a pleasant, inspirational Sunday afternoon .

DH thinks that it's unfair to Eva that we a both too old/decrepit to properly play with her.
I keep trying to tell him that Eva is thrilled that we love her, treat her well, and give her car rides.
The rest is unnecessary.
She delights in following us around, doesn't mind when the cats sleep on the bed, instead of her--naps are different, and her emotions soar with praise.
She is my sentry, NOT my guard dog.
I have a cat for that (Lynx)...
